Blueprint for Building a Green Home

Lindal homes are renowned not only for their seamless integration with the natural surroundings but also for our unwavering commitment to preserving the environment they celebrate.

Our dedication to sustainability and environmental stewardship permeates every aspect of our work, encompassing design, material selection, site choice, construction techniques, and beyond. If you are in search of eco-friendly prefab homes.

Environmentally-Friendly

For over two decades, Lindal Cedar Homes has collaborated with the American Forests Global ReLeaf program, actively replenishing trees felled for our homes. Pioneering green home construction, Lindal has championed the use of energy-efficient windows, engineered wood, and other sustainable materials.

The Results of Our Efforts

Our efforts have earned recognition from local and national media, with the distinction of being the fist green approved by the National Association of Homebuilders Research Center and the sole single-family home featured in TIME magazine's Green Design 100.

A Path That Continues

Lindal's dealers undergo specialized training as Certified Green Professionals, and today, numerous Lindal homeowners opt for off-grid living or pursue green certification for their residences.

Build Green with Lindal Homes

At Lindal Western Canada, we believe that our commitment to our clients goes far beyond capturing breathtaking panoramic views. We believe in the importance of preserving the world that our homes celebrate. Therefore, we are proud to offer our clients the opportunity to design and build with Certified Green Professionals for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Homes Green Rating. This is also included for our clients in their Red-Carpet Service at no extra cost.

There are many ways to incorporate green building within your home. Some examples that our clients have incorporated into their home efficiency systems are the use of solar panels and geo-thermal heating. Large overhangs are also included within a lot of our home designs as they block the heat from the summer sun from entering your home. In our design and planning process, our clients are able to fully customize how they would like to build green.

So why should building green matter to you? Not only does this help protect our environment and future generations, but it also creates a more energy-efficient home which saves you more in the long-run.

So, if building a custom prefab eco-conscious home is what you're looking for, then we are your ideal partner!
